Named after one of the renowned scholars of the region Syed Abul Qasim Khawnsari, the Abul Qasim Educational Complex was our first project. It was formally inaugurated on September 14, 2008 with 26 students studying in grades 9-12. We had an average induction of 40 students per year. After establishment of The Learning Academy, Gilgit (TLA) back in 2012 AQEC became part of it and has been specified only for TLA students. It has been renamed as Abul Qasim Hostel for boys and Abul Qasim Hostel for girls. In the Academic year 2016-17 there are more than 170 students in boys hostel and more than 80 in girls hostel.

After establishment of TLA, AQEC has been renamed as Abul Qasim Learning Hostel (AQLH). And it offers boarding facility to male and female students of The Learning Academy, Gilgit.
