THE LEARNING GARDEN MONTESSORI, GILGIT AND DANYORE
Learning Garden Montessori Gilgit (LGM) was adopted by the foundation in January 2013. Currently it has 403 students of between 3 and 11 years. The teaching staff is trained in the national Montessori standards. The LGM provides children with an opportunity to discover and learn, to develop their educational and social skills, and to develop a deeper connection with their community and natural environment.
A campus of LGM was opened in Danyore in 2017.
Salient features
We follow an enhanced Montessori system of education in view of our local cultural context and holistic development concerns. We have 21 sections, with maximum 20 students per section, and two dedicated directresses and assistant for each section. We also have an ongoing program for the professional development of our staff.
Achievements
- Emerged as one of the most preferred Montessori schools in Gilgit city.
